I love the Bible and I've studied and taught from the first three chapters in Revelation a number of times。 But， I'll admit that the rest of Revelation has been of little interest to me， because it is so horrifying， hard to understand， and - I won't be here when the tribulation horrors are happening on the earth （as a believer， I'll be in heaven）。 However， after studying a lot of prophecy recently， and feeling like I might need to enlarge my scope， I decided to read Amir's book （I'm a big fan of I love the Bible and I've studied and taught from the first three chapters in Revelation a number of times。 But， I'll admit that the rest of Revelation has been of little interest to me， because it is so horrifying， hard to understand， and - I won't be here when the tribulation horrors are happening on the earth （as a believer， I'll be in heaven）。 However， after studying a lot of prophecy recently， and feeling like I might need to enlarge my scope， I decided to read Amir's book （I'm a big fan of Amir Tsarfati） and I'm so glad I did。 While his book is not at all a verse by verse explanation， he gives a good bit of background information from the Old and New Testament that helps and enriches understanding， as well as offering explanation for various parts of each chapter in Revelation。 Amir has a warm and friendly， and even humorous way of writing that I find very engaging。 And， at times， he even admits that we don't know the answer to certain things in the book - and we just need to trust God's heart in these things。 I learned a lot from this book and I'd recommend it to anyone who wishes to learn more about God's Word - and especially about prophecy。 These things ARE going to happen someday - and you want to be sure that you are in heaven at the time and not still on the earth。 Several times in the book， Amir appeals to the reader to be sure about their eternal destination。 。。。more

If I could give this book beyond five stars， I definitely would！ Quite honestly， I approached this book wondering if I would really get anything out of it， as I felt "comfortable " that I had a solid enough grasp on the book of Revelation。 However， great teachers always manage to show you interesting facts that possibly you may have never seen before。 This was the case where Amir points out the very interesting pattern of praise in heaven prior to each series of judgments upon earth。 I found of If I could give this book beyond five stars， I definitely would！ Quite honestly， I approached this book wondering if I would really get anything out of it， as I felt "comfortable " that I had a solid enough grasp on the book of Revelation。 However， great teachers always manage to show you interesting facts that possibly you may have never seen before。 This was the case where Amir points out the very interesting pattern of praise in heaven prior to each series of judgments upon earth。 I found of interest the "sounds " of Revelation Amir vividly brought to life and nicely contrasted with the silence in heaven for half an hour very effective。 In the same way， Amir also nicely captures the prayers of the tribulation saints and brings those to life very vividly and powerfully to where they really stood out to me moreso than ever before。 When you get into the 1，000 year millenial reign of Christ， I appreciate Amir's literal approach， as for anyone to consider the 1，000 year millenial reign to not be a literal 1，000 years is to add interpretation to scripture that is simply not there。 If the Bible states 1，000 years， then it is to be interpreted as a literal 1，000 years。 I appreciated Amir's listing of scripture passages which provide glimpses of the 1，000 year reign of the Lord on earth given to the prophets Isaiah， Jeremiah， Daniel， Zechariah， and others。 Israel's Temple history Amir thoughtfully provides also makes a great study resource。 Amir points out the timing of the murder of the two witnesses as "when they finish their testimony " so there's fresh interesting insights like this throughout the book。 Amir nicely identifies the woman， the dragon and child in Revelation and provides plenty of biblical evidence for the woman being representative of Israel。 I loved Amir's statement that the reason he believes the Devil does not want people reading Revelation is because he wants them to think that he has more power than he actually does。 It reminded me of the scene in the Wizard of Oz where the wizard is exposed from behind the curtain， only to find out how weak he truly is。 Additionally， I immensely enjoyed the way Amir highlights the truth that "Blessed is he who keeps the prophecy of this book， " in that it is not a spectator sport。 We are exhorted to keep the words that we read。 I share Amir Tsarfati's beliefs that it is a tragedy that so many preachers fail to preach Revelation， or when they do， it is often mishandled， misinterpreted， or abused。 Revelation makes it clear that there is great blessing to those who read and "keep" the words of this prophecy， and I am very proud of the way Amir nicely presents "Revealing Revelation " by a God who has manifest Himself to us and desires for His ultimate plan to be made known。 That is why we have the book of Revelation！ I would recommend this book most wholeheartedly to anyone desiring to not only understand Revelation， but also to enjoy those thoughtful insights in Revelation that Amir richly provides， that you might not have seen in your own reading otherwise。 I truly love books that make you react internally with， "Oh， Wow， I never saw THAT before！" This is THAT book！ I enjoyed every minute of this book。 Beautiful job， Amir Tsarfati！ 。。。more
